House of Pizza: Reviews & Ratings
We did a pick-up order tonight, and it was excellent. We had a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza. A full order of angel hair pasta with garlic, oil, and mushroom (which can feed 4 people) with a side salad. Nice job, House of Pizza! I also added some pictures of a current menu as I couldn't find a complete one online. You're welcome.
The selections were plentiful and food was good. We chose calzones. I was browsing other folks selections as the trays passed by and everything looked good. Went with a group of nine today, 10/16. Our waitress was phenomenal and everyone raved about our food. The majority of us took home doggy bags.
So this was my first experience at House of Pizza. I’d have to say, I like coming out to Gloversville to get a break from all my usual haunts around Saratoga. Family owned restaurants is the way to go, and House of Pizza isn’t an exception! So our pizza was excellent. The cheese wasn’t greasy, and dripping. It wasn’t burnt, or flimsy. Very good. We ordered a small Hawaiian. The toppings were excellent. Not too little, not too much. We also ordered a chicken parm sub to split. While it was a great sandwich, the chicken had a solid crisp to it. It was a little too crispy for me, but I’m not going to complain. It was still excellent, and something I would still order in the future. The staff was very polite, and helpful. Our waiter was timely, and friendly. I didn’t catch his name. The owner was also present, and personally thanked the patrons as they left which was nice. I haven’t been to a place like this in a while. So it was nice. A good atmosphere. You could tell a lot of the local people ate there. So I do recommend it! Oh, and I think they have a drive through. Which is crazy for a pizza place!
I've been visiting House of Pizza for years and this restaurant never disappoints. The waitresses are always cordial and intuitively accommodating. The owners are mostly onsite and even came over to greet us. I love the house of Pizza.
My first time dining here recently was a pleasant experience as I was told. Lovely setting, super polite and attentive staff and the food! Sooooo good! I rode with others, otherwise I'm not a fan of the parking situation. There's plenty of it, but the drive through window makes navigating the parking and getting to the main entrance kind of blah.
The House of Pizza in Gloversville, NY was a nice place for lunch. It was busy but not crowded on Sunday afternoon. Our server was friendly and efficient. I ordered spaghetti and mushrooms, and was pleasantly surprised by the quantity and taste. My husband had pizza, and quite enjoyed his meal as well. The prices were very reasonable, so we will definitely add this restaurant to our list whenever we're in the area!
First time ever trying this place, it did not disappoint! The Sauce is magnificent, the service was great, we were greeting right at the door, super friendly place. They also have a drive thru if you just looking to pick up and bring it home, super convenient.
Great pizza, great service! We were a party of 12 last Friday evening. Sophia was our server and she was friendly and professional. Sophia went above and beyond, offering us an empty table to set up our pizzas like a buffet (it was a snowy evening. Restaurant wasn't crowded). Thank you for helping us all enjoy a delicious dinner at a reasonable price.
